Ben Kendall
Ben Kendall is a narrative artist who was born and raised in Santa Barbara. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Art Center College of Design, Ben has over 20 years of experience in painting, drawing, and production illustration for film and television.
As a narrative artist, Ben is known for blending styles of all types of mediums, creating captivating and thought-provoking visual stories. influenced by the works from Toulous-Lautrec and Edward Hopper to N.C. Wyeth and Norman Rockwell. His art incorporates elements from these artists, resulting in unique and dynamic pieces.
Drawing inspiration from growing up on the golden California coast to his travels throughout southern France, Portugal, Italy and South America, Ben’s art showcases the beauty and essence of these locations, often evoking a sense of nostalgia and storytelling.
Ben now resides in Los Angeles with his family, but can often be found back in Santa Barbara where he enjoys spear fishing, skate boarding, making music and painting and his favorite local haunts.
